Complete beginners
Build sound foundations through stances, blocks, movement, controlled partner work and gradual physical preparation.
Tai Tsung is built on a simple idea: martial arts should develop physical ability, practical skill and personal character together.

Our approach
Tai Tsung promotes classical Kung Fu in combination with modern practical self-defence and physical training methods. Its programme has been shaped by years of teaching experience and is designed to evolve with the needs of students.
Classes are exciting, structured and grounded in courtesy, honesty, respect, integrity and self-control. Students are expected to work hard, persevere and progress at a pace that develops their own ability and potential.
Men and women, younger and older students, beginners and experienced martial artists can all benefit from the programme's balance of flexibility, strength, endurance and skill.

Teaching philosophy
Tai Tsung nourishes the uniqueness of each student and their wider ambitions. Instruction is adapted so that people can develop from their current level without losing the discipline and technical standards of the programme.
Advancement is earned through regular practice, understanding and the ability to apply lessons—not simply by attending for a fixed period.
